Extended Degree Program
Earn your WSU college degree without ever having to leave the area! WSU is changing the face of education and how students access its programs. Local residents can now earn a university degree locally. Washington State University's Bachelor of Arts Degree is a degree completion program designed primarily for students who have completed the equivalent of the first two years of college. The Extended Degree Program (EDP) is delivered directly to Jefferson County and communities statewide through a variety of distance learning telecommunication technologies including Internet, videotapes, and satellite. Students participating in the EDP contact the WSU counseling program at 1-800-222-4WSU to get assistance in completing the standard WSU admission forms. Individuals not enrolled in the degree program may wish to take selected courses for professional or personal growth. If considering EDP, however, students are encouraged to apply for admission as soon as possible. Graduation Requirements: WSU requires completion of at least 120 credits, 40 at the upper division level. At least 30 of the 120 credits must be taken at WSU. Other requirements should be discussed on an individual basis with WSU advisors. Student Support Services: EDP has student advisors and counselors available to help you reach your educational goals.
